What I say:
I definitely recommend using these eyeshadows with a base, as otherwise I find their colour is not coming out as intense as in the pot. I’ve seen other swatches without primer or base that had great pigmentation, for me whoever this didn’t work. You can also apply them wet to intensify their colour. Lily Lolo has a range of mostly natural colours on offer, my personal favourites being Pixie Sparkle and Khaki Sparkle. I think the product is affordable as you receive a good amount of loose eyeshadow that will last you some time. The eyeshadows that I own still have the old packaging so I can’t tell you how the new one has changed and/or improved. I find the old packaging a bit bulky, but workable. The pot comes with a sifter, which helps to avid a complete mess when opening the pot.
