‘Love The Planet was started back in 2002 by Laura McComiskie. What started as a kitchen based project, quickly grew into a successful business with loyal customers all over the world.
Reaching the finals of the British Female Inventor of the Year Awards in London in 2002 with her Washable Cleansing Pads idea, spurred her on to develop the idea further and launch Love The Planet.
Laura was frustrated by the lack of high quality, natural beauty products without a huge price tag. After a lot of training, she was qualified to create them herself using natural and organic raw materials from sustainable sources.’
Read more about the story behind the brand in this interview with Laura McComiskie from 2013 in the Scotsman. Together with Kimberly Wyatt she is also co-founder of BM Beauty, on which you can find a brand impression on the blog as well.

What I say:
I tried a couple of their products by now and am very satisfied with them. Overall, they perform well and have great ingredients for an affordable price. The fact that they are produced in Scotland, where I live, is a definite bonus for me.
