Nikkie’s passion and love for makeup came out of an unexpected corner back in 2008.Feeling sick and not too well, Nikkie spent the weekend in bed watching a ”The Hills” weekend break on MTV. Completely inspired by the gorgeous looks of Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge she began to search for ”The Hills Makeup” on YouTube. (…)

When things started getting really big for Nikkie, she got contacted by Makeup Artist Pascale Tesser: A makeup and hair artist who had done lots of shows and photoshoots, and was now teaching fashion makeup at B Academy, Amsterdam. (…)

In Fall 2010 Nikkie decided to follow the Makeup Course by Pascale Tesser at B Academy. A tough course, where she learned everything about professional makeup for photoshoots and shows. Ending up having a good friendship with Pascale Tesser, Nikkie decided to stay close to Pascale and assist her for shows and photoshoots.

Later that year Nikkie also followed the Hair on the Set: Level 1 Course at B Academy. This to be a a perfect all-round artist who could get booked for any job.

In 2011 she joined Pascale Tesser’s agency called Colourfool Agency. With Colourfool Agency, Nikkie has worked on some great projects like Hollands & Benelux’s Next Top Model, Miljoenenjacht & The Face. She worked for spreads in magazines like Marie Claire, Linda, Talkies and Fashionista.

Nikkie is a makeup artist from the Netherlands and has one of the most creative Youtube channels I know. She does everything from very natural makeup, showing colourful and creative ideas to some amazing Halloween looks. And can we just talk about her flawless face for a moment? She definitely knows how to create a dewy and well defined makeup. On her blog you can find reviews as well and some really great swatches, so go and check her out!

One of my recent favourites of her is the Creepy Clown Halloween look:
